May 18, 2008 is Lavonne Custin's Birthday so off we go to The Palms Resort on South Padre Island for dinner and drinks at their Cafe on the Beach.
In the photos note the family in background. They had FIVE daughters , ages approx 6-16 and one boy age 4 , all well behaved... The drinks are called Arnold Palmer [non- alcohol],, Lemonade and Ice Tea plus a secret ingredient..

Bob and Mary go back on May 29 then call Cliff and Lavonne just to tell them where we are and what they are missing. The young man in black at the end of bar is the cook who delights us with good and attractive food.--
