Doesn't seem right

Coming home on a Sunday I spy a yellow Camaro  [they always catch my eye] but something does not seem right..

As we get closer , can it really be a Dominoes Pizza delivery sign on top of this new Camaro?

OH, yes it is,, " hurry Bob, get along side "

--Laughing as I take a picture the girl driving waves and smiles while

I wonder how many Pizza delivery's does it take to pay for a new Camaro???  Just doesn't seem right.

Alisha's last day at Ft. Sam Houston

Mary, Bob, Connie, Charley travel to San Antonio , Texas to see her walk across the stage.

We get there on Monday the night before and get to have dinner with Alisha, Ben and Trypp.

Trypp's potatoes were hot so he would blow on them, then be very careful tasting them.

 Alisha helping

Waiting for your name to be called, then walk to the left while we are so proud.

Trypp watching Mom, when Alisha walked back up the aisle it was "HI MOMMY"  There was a big smile on Moms face.

 Trypp spots Grandma no no.

All take the stage after and there are lots of pictures taken, hand shakes and congratulations all around.
Gathering all the documents and clothes we get ready to leave
but not before a family photo
Way to go , keep up the good work,  Army Proud..

What it's all about

--Sharing the Birds with Everyone at the Zoo

Scarlett, a Scarlett Ibis

Paige, a four month  Chilean Flamingo

Because of the bright red color Scarlett is a big attraction.  Bob has her trained to come to him and we can let the kids give her a drink out of a cup.

Paige comes out of her carrier and looks around for Bob.

Riding in the carrier on the golf cart makes a Bird thirsty.
OK, there is my buddy.

This is a busy day with lots of families and many happy children getting to interact with the little Flamingo.

Rita helps monitor the feeding and helps keep the birds safe.

These pictures show what it is all about, smiling faces while learning.

Don and Rita talk about the eggs on display and answer many questions

Giving Scarlett a drink you might get wet.

I too would be leery of a bird that was tall enough to look me in the eye .."Don't push me too close Mom".

Another happy customer

Many of the parents are excited to touch a Flamingo also.. Have you ever had the opportunity to do that?

Lots of questions from this family while the little girl kept saying over and over " I think she likes me".

She sat on the ground touching and hugging Paige for a long time.

End of Day

BIG SMILES- us
