Bob's Birthday at the DQ

Saturday, November 8, 2008.....Bob's
Birthday.

Bob spent the day painting the skirting around the bottom of the Mobil Home, so when night time came we thought a trip to the local car show at the Dairy Queen was called for,, in light of his hard work.

Checking out the red panel truck and the rest of the cars.

Sunday, November 9 , we travel to McAllen to a park where there were about 250 cars of all kinds on display.

Here we have a King Midget . Something I have never heard of before. These cute little cars are no longer made.

Next is restored white Jeep , I thought of Dwight and wonder how he is coming along with the restoring of his white Jeep.

A great looking woody!!!

This one is for Tom ,, We called it very basic.
Bare metal seats , twisted iron bar with skull and helmet for shifter. Everything painted gun metal green/grey. What you see right here is about all there is.. An ammunition case for a console.

A impressive display of Military vehicles all privately owned and restored. Seems someone likes playing Army with Big Boy Toys!!

No words needed here but it was
eye-catching .

A favorite of all you hunters out there.. When Texans think "tree stands" ,,well,, there ya go!!
