Connie's new boat

Denise and Mary drive to Delton to enjoy a nice Indian Summer Day with Connie , joining her in her second ever cruise with her new boat.

What are all these straps for and how do they come off?

Although Charley does not go out on the lake he is there to do all the backing and launching for us. In between he goes home and watches for us to pass by and wave at him.

Once on the lake we all get to take our turn at the helm and try out the new gauges and gadgets.
Lots of power for skiing and tubing
One Happy Girl !
Yes , it was windy, not a good hair day because we could not go slow!
 Oops, grab the glasses.

Denise puts on her life jacket , grabbed the ski rope and started pretending to be skiing along with signals for faster or slower speeds saying things about "OK , I'm up now, oh ya cutting across the wake".  Then I yelled "OH SKIER Down",just to burst her bubble ..
"It still says 2 feet deep"
What's up with the tongue  ? A family thing?
Connie's house where Charley sits and waves to us as we blast past.

Because the boat ramp is bad and has a hole, the boat will not go on the trailer straight , we decided to try another boat ramp at Lower Crooked Lake.
Talking it over, "what to do now?"
The area is cramped and not much better ,,,,,,

So we head home with a cock-eyed boat ,but being the inventor/engineers we are, we come up with a plan to park downward on a hill and use gravity to help us move the boat forward and centered on the trailer.  It works ...DO WE ROCK...OR WHAT!!

Feeling good about ourselves , Charley takes us to Sam's for dinner.  There we see unique photo opportunities .  Denise and Connie kiss the bear.
Who would not want their photo with the Blues Brothers?

OH ,Dee you did not?????
