May 18, 2008 is Lavonne Custin's Birthday so off we go to The Palms Resort on South Padre Island for dinner and drinks at their Cafe on the Beach.
In the photos note the family in background. They had FIVE daughters , ages approx 6-16 and one boy age 4 , all well behaved... The drinks are called Arnold Palmer [non- alcohol],, Lemonade and Ice Tea plus a secret ingredient..

Our waiter is a Hottie who said no pictures and laughed.. He loved the attention.

Bob and Mary go back on May 29 then call Cliff and Lavonne just to tell them where we are and what they are missing. The young man in black at the end of bar is the cook who delights us with good and attractive food.--

South Padre Island is so pretty this time of year. I bet it is much cooler too - a nice break from the heat inland. Just tell the adjoining families you are paparazzi, shooting famous people.

ewww are those shoes worn by other people lol... beautiful sights... i bet the heat is awful... its pretty muggy here and around 80 every day! booo... i miss the 60s lol
