Late Tuesday, a Fisherman  drowns while fishing on the Lake, his empty boat is found.  They shut down the lake asking everyone to stay off the lake while a search is conducted.  This shutting down the lake has never happened before.   Late at night search lights are following the shore by boat and loud Helicopters are flying overhead ,lighting up the deck and yards, back and forth until 1 AM.  TV News reports Authorities are asking all Lake residents to check under their docks and boats for anything that does not belong??? [Body??]  We say This has never happened before , the searching usually is called off at dark.  It is very dark and our imaginations are running on high and working overtime as we strain our eyes looking at the lake.

The next day Wednesday July 23 is cool and windy with the Lake still shut down as the search is still ongoing.

We find a new place to sit out of the wind while still checking on a empty eerie lake [except for search boats] and wonder why they can not find the fisherman.  "This has never happened before" ...

Thursday dawns with the same story, No Water Activities again today,, Radar, Sonar , grid search going on.

Bob , Mary, Mike and Kevin decide to run up to Frankenmuth, MI and tour the shops and Bronners, the largest Christmas store and a sight to see.  Too bad the girls did not come along..We drove across the covered Bridge and went into some small shops after our fun at Bronners.

Kevin and Mike liked this Music box.
 Beer Steins

Kevin found a friend,,,,,,,

 who soon turned on him..
Mary liked the Giraffe looking out from the Christmas trees.. Not sure why he was there.
In the music ornaments section there were 3 inch guitars with real strings to be played ,,

So many things to look at...
Mike found a Detroit Tiger Christmas tree with Bud Light ornaments.
Outside there was this "street sign" with mileage

Hungry and Thirsty we head to the Brewery and sit on the deck overlooking the Cass River.  Beautiful Day to enjoy family.

A Baby Shower was going on behind us and a Bachelorette Party just to the right.  Mike almost got us involved with them,, They were all to ready to join us,,, Help!! get us out of here..ha ha ..

The touring Paddle wheel boat was pretty cool going up and down the river.

Our food was yummy and the beer was tasty.

 Waving hello to the passengers.

Note: They did recover the body of the Fisherman that drowned on Thursday afternoon while we in Frankenmuth.
