Flowers and Plants of Paradise Park

One day Connie and Mary took Bud and Evelyn's Golf Cart and did a few turns around the park looking at all the types of flowers and plants and how they are used in different ways.

Two ways to display this Texas version of a very large "Aloe" .
An untrimmed version about 8-9 foot .

Not sure what it is but it is "cool".

Evelyn's very large and very healthy Tomato plants
A nice way to show off a southwestern style yard.
More unusual native trees.

One of the many Prickly Pear Cactus in bloom

Bougainvillea in yard next to Connie's house.

Pretty and colorful flower gardens are all around us.

Mary's corner yard. We have two pretty palm trees. A photo from 2 months ago of the first bloom on the Bird of Paradise plant.
Mary's Tomato plants at the beginning of the season last December..Yummy Yummy, tomatoes all winter. I spy green Peppers also.

-- Connie likes the Parrots in this yard.

Seen this painting hanging on a wall to dry . There are very talented artists in Mexico that do paintings with cans of spray paint. They will paint on anything you bring to them. Besides framed painted pictures ,other things we have seen painted include vases, tray tables, satellite dishes and even motorcycles . Not sure what this item is , it is about 2 foot by 4 foot plastic or fiberglass.

I love all the plants and am seeing some green myself around the yard in Michigan!! WE are having some 75 degree weather for two days now and don't plan on spending another minute outside! I have seen the spray painters at work in Mexico and have been trying to think of the perfect thing to have painted ever since!!!

a nice tour of the park. so many talented gardeners. I'm anxious to grow something and seeing those beautiful colors has inspired me. Going out to clean out the garden beds and enjoy the weather. We are especially appreciative of these first 70's days.
